Vet nurse Carly joined Toowoomba Vets late in 2023 after having nursed in the Lockyer Valley for several years and over 20 years working in the rescue and pet retail environments. She transitioned into vet nursing to promote positive outcomes and high standards of care for all of her patients while providing education to owners as needed. Carly has a particular interest in Fear Free consulting, wildlife and anaesthesia, areas that she encounters on a daily basis while in-clinic. Carly also sits on a nursing committee that creates protocols and standards of care to promote best practice care for patients. Outside of work, Carly spends time with her Gypsy Cobs, Zephyr and Diva, and hiking with her dog, Harriet.
